Job Applicant Fraud Firewall
Dishonest candidates not only waste your time, money and compliance efforts, but also hurt team morale.
Hackers falsify work experience, education, skills and portfolios to appear more qualified than they are.
Justus lucas, Senior HR Manager: As per my experience, about one-third of the resumes I received last year were manipulated. It’s a frustrating waste of time.
These "actors" now use AI-powered interview copilots to simulate answers, bypassing the need for real knowledge or skills, and creating a false impression of their capabilities.
Jane Smith, Head of Engineering: I’m shocked to learn that there are over 50 job interview copilot AIs ready to access dishonest candidates.
They steal or fabricate identities, using fake personal details or stolen credentials to gain access to job opportunities.
Anna Bod, Developer: Experience of wasting three weeks gave my CTO a strong sense of distrust toward XXX people. They are harming honest applicants as well.
They employ advanced technologies and modern AI tools to conceal themselves, making it challenging to detect their deceptive actions.
Emily Brown, Recruiter: Companies need to be aware that scammers are using various tools and technologies to effectively hide their fraud. Don’t ignore the red flags.
Currently, fraudulent candidates are often identified only after the interview or background check. But it happens after you have already invested significant resources and potentially lost ethical talents.
Get startedSee how we fight against job applicant frauds.
We analyze resumes, LinkedIn profiles, GitHub repositories, and portfolios, cross-checking them with email and phone verification, company records, source code, commit history and app details. Any discrepancies trigger red flags.
We monitor candidates’ computers during interviews to detect and prevent cheating. Red flags are raised for suspicious activities such as geolocation mismatches, Deep fake usage, proxies and other deceptive tactics.
By referencing historical fraud activity records, we identify repeat offenders and detect emerging fraud patterns, providing alerts and recommended follow-up actions.

Screentro.ai requires a business email for sign-up. Each domain is allowed only one free personal account, which means a colleague has already registered using your company’s domain. If you need to create your own account, the existing personal account must be deleted first.
We understand that AI can sometimes flag honest candidates by mistake. However, Screentro.ai is not a decision-maker; the final choice is yours. We provide potential red flags, along with detailed reasoning and follow-up recommendations. You can choose to investigate further, accept the flag, or disregard it.
Interview cheating involves candidates using dishonest methods, such as AI tools or unauthorized assistance, to simulate knowledge or responses during the interview. To ensure a trusted interview, generate a Screentro.ai Interview ID on the Interview Proctor page and share it with the candidate via the invitation email, specifying that the interview will be proctored by Screentro.ai. The candidate will need to install and run the Screentro.ai Interview Proctor app on their device during the interview. You can then monitor their activities in real time on the interview monitoring page.
Absolutely not. Screentro.ai only stores partial data from fraudulent candidates who have been checked by both Screentro.ai and HR human. Normal, honest candidates and HR teams have nothing to worry about — Screentro.ai completely removes all data upon explicit deletion. However, fraudulent candidate data is retained to build a fraud activity ledger, which helps identify and compare future fraud patterns. It's important to note that Screentro.ai only retains information soley belonged to fraudulent candidate, and never stores any "honest" person's data, even if it has been used by the scammer.
